How Isaacs’s eStand Was Born
Isaac’s eStand was founded in June 2016. Michele and Amanda, friends since college, had been trying to create a website for a year prior to the formation of Isaac’s eStand. The intent was to create some kind of forum, where people could come together and help one another for the betterment of the entire group. They threw around various ideas, initially focusing on young mothers, but they just couldn’t put their finger on how to execute the kind of site that they had in mind. So, they toyed with other ideas, some including food, others included crafts, etc. One day, Michele’s 8-year old son came to her with a problem. He was trying to sell some bracelets to his two younger brothers. As soon as Michele heard the effort that he was making to complete a sale, a lightbulb went on in her head. Wouldn’t it be a great idea to design a site where children could easily upload products for sale? She called Amanda and explained the need for a website such as this. It was exactly the kind of website they were looking for all along. They had both said that when they had the right idea, they would know it. Immediately, they were filled with excitement and from that day forward, there was no turning back!

Our First Entrepreneur
Isaac is a 9 year old boy, who is in 4th grade. He loves earning money, saving money and of course, spending money. One day, he made a bracelet that he was trying to sell to his younger brothers. In listening to his efforts to try and convince his brothers to buy it, his mother had a great idea. Why not create a forum for kids where any child, regardless of location, could sell their goods on the open market? And that is where Isaac’s eStand began.
